Valley Home Builders Association, a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit
trade association, applauds its members for the significant
charitable aid given to valuable organizations throughout the Fox
Valley area of Wisconsin by individual members and member
companies. Much of this giving goes to local churches, schools, the
United Way, the American Red Cross, arts organizations and
countless specialized charities.
In keeping with the mission of VHBA, to enhance the quality of
life in the Fox Valley area, the VHBA Fund of the Wisconsin
Builders Foundation was created to allow the generosity of VHBA
members, as a group, to be focused on housing-related education,
research and charitable aid initiatives. Through annual fundraising
events, the VHBA Fund supports scholarships and tool grant programs
for students pursuing education in residential construction related
fields. The events also raise funds to support charities, primarily
thouse that are housing-related, particularly in the Fox
Valley.
Charitable grant requests are reviewed annually, and emergency
funding requests will be evaluated as they arrive. Although VHBA
cannot respond to every need in the community, we are proud of the
help we are able to provide.
In 2010, VHBA charitable grants will be awarded to:
Emergency Shelter of the Fox Valley
Greater Fox Cities Habitat for Humanity
Housing Partnership of the Fox Cities
LEAVEN
Rebuilding Together Fox Cities
